Ever since 2010, more devices than users have been connected to the Internet, owing to the expanding volume of products that connect online, leading to the moniker “the Internet of Things.” Cisco now estimates that the number of Internet-enabled devices will double roughly every five years. A new company, Evrythng, is looking to foster and promote a common standard among these billions of e-devices.
Lower costs and greater information connectivity rank among the factors that Evrythng aims to take advantage of in its quest. Whiskey bottles with customizable e-tributes represent one of many such opportunities.
