U.K., BT Push Broadband to Rural Scotland

One of the most isolated areas of the United Kingdom will soon have access to high-speed broadband. The telecommunications company BT has been awarded a grant to connect northern Scotland’s highlands and islands, boosting the local economy.

Due to the isolated nature of the region and terrain, the project will be challenging and will be rolled out in phases over three years.
