Global IT Spend Will Rise 4.1% to $3.8 Trillion in 2013, ‘A Calm Ocean with Turbulent Currents’, with Mobile Driving Growth

Global spending on IT is projected to increase 4.1% to $3.8 trillion says Gartner Consulting in its annual release of projections for information technology. Telecoms services account for the majority of spending at 45%; however, the shift to mobile devices is being felt throughout the industry. This increase in spending tops last year’s 2.1% growth.
