Microsoft Office 2013 needs 20% more capacity to maintain VDI performance

Researchers and technicians associated with Project reality check have announced a new white paper on the VDI performance and CPU usage of Microsoft office 2013 as compared to its two former incarnations.

One of the researchers findings was that Office 2013 uses over 200% more memory than Office 2007. The team also found that Office 2013 requires a VDI resource increase of about 20 percent to run at the same levels as Office 2007.
