Facebook Slaps Researcher Who Hacked Zuckerberg’s Wall

Palestinian researcher Khalil Shreateh, while trying to point out flaws in the Facebook infrastructure, was harshly punished by the company late Wednesday.

When trying to point out bugs to the Facebook team, in particular researcher Sarah Goodin, his cries were largely ignored, leading for him to get their attention through hacking Zuckerberg’s page as proof of the exploit. Instead of thanking Shreateh for pointing out the bug however, Facebook suspended his account and kicked him out of the White Hat program.
