Are we still talking about “big data” and “little data”?

This discusses how the ideas of big data and little data are obsolete. Now what is much more important is the half-life of the data. This refers to amount of time that the data is still relevant and in demand after it’s release. The idea is that after the release the data goes through a period of time, and as time passes, value falls on the information in time sensitive subjects.
