Google DOES Care About Chrome Password Security…Sort of (Maybe)

Google has recently changed its policy on protecting passwords that are stored on its Chrome browser. Previously, if you were logged onto the browser, anyone could easily look up a list of your stored passwords via the settings. Thanks to a newly developed feature of the browser, users are now prompted for system passwords before the list of passwords is shown. Although this feature is currently only available for Chrome on Macs and does not encrypt the list of passwords, it is nonetheless a positive step towards password security by Google.
